Ford Ranger SuperCab 4x4 added to Growing Ford Fleet!

While it's easy to profess your love for a certain brand, it's not always easy to pass along that passion to your children (or youth in general). That free spirit and peer pressure sometimes team up to ruin your best intentions.
My son, now 19, has been a Ford owner since he got his license. First with his great grandmother's Escort, and now a lightly modified '00 Mustang V-6 coupe (plus we're still in the middle of building Generation Gap, our '68 Mustang, together).
My daughter, soon to be 17, started off with a really rough F-150. I simply didn't have the time to work on it and she sold it after only having it a few weeks. A string of other cars/trucks went through her hands, but she really wanted a Ford truck. She finally found what she wanted in this '01 Ranger SuperCab 4x4. It's a 3.0L V-6 with automatic and is fairly spartan with just A/C, auto, and 4x4 being the options, as it was a city fleet vehicle originally.
We've already fixed the A/C (bad relay and low refrigerant charge), painted the bumpers and grille, changed the oil, and replaced the worn out sway bar end links. Soon we hope to add aftermarket power windows and locks, and of course we already swapped in the stereo she had from her last ride. She's finally proud of what she's driving and wants to take care of it. Could a Blue Oval dad be any happier?
Including the Generation Gap project this makes seven Ford products we own. Four daily drivers and three weekend toys/projects.
