Coker Group purchases Wheel Vintiques! Check out today's blog to learn what the future holds for Wheel Vintiques' products and Coker.

Since its founding in 1986, Wheel Vintiques has become one of the most recognized names in the collector car, hot rod and classic truck hobby. The Wheel Vintiques offering encompasses hundreds of styles of wheels and accessories and is the most complete line of steel and wire wheels in the automotive aftermarket today. The strong position of leadership built by quality manufacturing and delivering what collectors want for their vehicles will now continue with renewed determination, as the assets of Wheel Vintiques were recently purchased by the Coker Group, parent group of Coker Tire.

Mike and Sherrie Stallings began with a personal wheel restoration hobby that turned into more business than Mike could handle in his home garage shop. Wheel Vintiques grew their business by adding quality products, which expanded its customer base steadily. Always paying close attention to better manufacturing processes and "just in time" manufacturing, the Company outgrew several facilities in recent years in its hometown of Fresno, California. Mike Stallings, a passionate hot rodder and drag racer, will help direct the new company as a manufacturing and process consultant.

“The purchase of Wheel Vintiques is a great opportunity for the Coker Group as well as the employees and customers of Wheel Vintiques.   We are committed to continuing Wheel Vintiques great traditions while striving to improve administrative, customer service and manufacturing aspects of the business,” related Wade Kawasaki, Executive Vice President of the Coker Group. "Wheel Vintiques will continue operations similar to a stand alone business and will distribute its product through its current distribution system,” related Mr. Kawasaki. Coker Tire Company will not be distributing Wheel Vintiques products and will continue supplying its current wheel brands.

The Coker Group is the parent of a number of specialty equipment market companies including Coker Tire Company, Phoenix Drag Tire, Specialty Wheel, Roadster Wire Wheel, Honest Charley Speed Shop, Great Race and others.
