Modular ramp system combines the function of three different Race Ramps products - use for servicing, trailer loading, and as a tie-down aid. System features two types of Head-pieces that are added to the base Universal Ramps to configure for specific functionality. Pieces can be purchased together as one kit, or purchased separately, allowing users to buy one set-up and add to it later on.
Service Ramp function is achieved by installing Service Heads on the Universal Ramps to raise the vehicle eight inches. 9.25° angle of approach allows low ground clearance vehicles to mount the ramps without the nose and spoiler scraping.
Trailer Ramp function is realized by attaching Trailer Heads to the Universal Ramps. Safely and easily gets low ground clearance vehicles on and off trailers without scraping. Place existing ramps, or trailer door, on the notch of the ramps to reduce angle of approach to 9.25°. Provide a safe alternative to wooden planks and other unsafe methods of reducing ramp angle.
Trailer Tie-Down Ramp function is attained by installing Service Heads on the Universal Ramps. Provide an easier way to tie-down a vehicle to a transport trailer. Ramps create an additional 8 inches of ground clearance so tie-down points of low ground clearance vehicles can be more easily reached. Also help enable opening the car door over the trailer wheel well.
