Dynotech Engineering Services is proud to announce its continued partnership with Ford Racing as the driveshaft supplier for the 2012 Cobra Jet Program. Read the full press release that we posted below in our blog entry today.
As the sole driveshaft supplier since the beginning of the Cobra Jet Program, Dynotech provides its 3.5-inch diameter drawnover mandrel (DOM) steel driveshafts with 1350 u-joints and a Strange slip yoke for the Cobra Jet Drag Packages. The strong, DOM steel composition makes Dynotech's driveshaft an ideal solution for this application. Dynotech also supplies its 6061-T6 aluminum driveshafts to the Cobra Jet Program. "Working with the Ford Racing Cobra Jet Program has been a great project from the very beginning, both in the exposure it's offered our brand and in the relationship we've developed with the Ford Racing team as a result of our application and build technology," said Steve Raymond, general manager, Dynotech Engineering Services. "We are proud to be a part of this program and to serve as a resource for factory teams needing help with balancing and driveshaft technical issues." Ford RacingTV shares a step-by-step video of the 2012 Cobra Jet Mustang build (including the driveshaft installation that starts at 6:45 minutes into the segment) at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH2CAjtuaNg. Dynotech's custom driveshafts feature the industry's most sophisticated engineering and building process carried out by their team of highly skilled technicians, which allows them to offer a vibration-free guarantee that has led to an unofficial reputation as the "industry referee" on balancing. Computer welding, high-speed balancing, CV adapter, mounting bolts and free shipping within the continental U.S. are offered for both steel and aluminum driveshaft models making the Dynotech driveshafts favored by speed shops across the U.S. To learn more about Dynotech driveshafts computer welding process, visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRO8Xi1XbIQ.
