When owning a muscle car isn't enough, owners who want better than the best, go to Ring Brothers of Spring Green, Wisconsin for custom creativity for their classic cars. The Ring Brothers are Jim and Mike Ring who got their start as kids building custom cars with discarded lawn mower engines. The Ring Brothers scope of work includes restorations, restomods and all out custom projects.

Their projects can be described as a classic case of "looks can be deceiving." At a quick glance, the vehicle may maintain the stock appearance, but a closer look or comparison to another vehicle of the same year, make and model and the subtle differences start to become apparent. If you look under the hood of one of their cars, the real showmanship can be seen. It starts with working a contemporary high performance motor into a classic mold, and protecting them with products like Royal Purple lubricants and custom made brackets.

2011 will mark the third year of Royal Purple <http://www.royalpurple.com> 's sponsorship of Ring Brothers. The Ring Brothers unveiled their 1965 Mustang Fastback and 1970 Mustang Mach 1 "Dragon" at the 2010 SEMA Show, where they also won the Mothers Shine Award for their work on the Dragon. This was the Ring Brothers' third time to receive the award (2006, 2008 and 2010) since Mothers began the annual award in 2001.

"Ring Brothers has the same approach or value as Royal Purple, if you are going to make something, why not make it the best?" said Kyle Neal, Royal Purple Central US Regional Manager. "Even then, the best is not good enough. They consistently raise the bar for themselves and their competitors. They are leaders in their field, and we are happy to consider them a part of the Royal Purple family," added Neal.

Ring Brothers use the following Royal Purple products in their project vehicles: XPR 5w30 racing oil, Max EZ steering fluid, Purple Ice radiator coolant, Ultra Performance Grease for fittings, Max Gear 75w90 for rear differential, Synchromax for manual transmissions and Max ATF for automatic transmissions.
