Driver San Francisco to Feature Licensed Ford Products
The latest Driver title hits store shelves next month and there's plenty of Ford iron to take for a spin. Learn more in today's blog.
We remember playing the original Driver game on our Playstation, and PC. It was a fun driving game, but the cars were unlicensed (though you could sort of make out what kind of car they wanted you to think it was). Later games in the franchise, like Driver: Parallel Lines, swayed from the true driving game experience.
Now, Driver San Francisco has brough renewed focus on the pure driving aspect of the game with a great plot line, over 100 licensed vehicles, realistic physics, and more. We're anxiously awaiting the release of the latest Driver to add to our collection. You play Detective John Tanner, and your job is to hunt down escaped crime boss Charles Jericho.
The game launches August 30th and will be available for the Xbox360 and PS3 consoles, as well as for PC and Mac computer system. Pre-ordering is open now through several retailers. If you want a little taste of what the game is going to look like be sure to check out this single-player video we posted HERE.
