Ford Racing has taken the "Coyote" 5.0L Mustang engine and created another in its series of "Aluminator" crate engines built to be used with a supercharger or other power adders. The 5.0 Aluminator is assembled with extreme duty connecting rods and pistons designed specifically for high boost applications. For durability, the engine features Mahle 9.5:1 compression ratio forged pistons that are hard anodized with Graphal low friction coating. The connecting rods are premium Manley H-beam units with ARP 2000 bolts and fitted with BOSS 5.0L high performance bearings.
The 5.0 Aluminator is a direct bolt in for 2011-2012 Mustang GT's (new calibration required for optimum performance) and can be used in street rod or restomod builds using Ford Racing's 5.0L engine controls pack.
