Ford Licensed R/C Bodies Continue to Gain Traction
ProLine Racing releases their latest Ford body for us R/C fanatics. Read all about it in our blog below.
The radio control car/truck hobby continues to grow in leaps and bounds. Bolstered by new battery technology, brushless electric motors, and easier to tune nitro engines, the hobby's growth is only paralleled by 1:1 scale motorsports and enthusiasts. As we've said before, we're contstantly finding car owners displaying R/C versions of their classic Mustangs, Ford cars, and trucks at events and Ford has been licensing their hottest selling rides to several companies.
The latest body to pop up on our R/C radar (OK, we saw it posted on one of the numerous R/C forums we visit) is the 2012 Focus ST rally body from ProLine Racing. ProLine already offers the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor and several other Ford trucks in their lineup, but this is their first Ford body for the growing 1/16th scale R/C segment. You might remember our review of the Traxxas 1/16th scale Boss 302 Mustang a while back, but if you missed it, here's a few blog links for you to check out:
I'm thinking of a tribute paint job in honor of Colin McRae as if he was still with us and racing for Ford. What do you think?
