GreenLight Giveaway at Yankee Ford Explorer Night!
Ford contracts GreenLight to create 1:64 2011 Ford Explorer tooling for a Yankee themed Promotion. Read all about it in today's blog!
GreenLight, the New York Yankees, and Ford have collaborated to create a custom limited edition 1:64 2011 Ford Explorer die cast replica. This car will be a part of Ford Explorer Night at Yankee stadium for the team’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday June 29th, 2011.
The 1:64 2011 Ford Explorer will display a custom paint scheme to look like the Yankee jersey; with pinstripes and team logo on the hood and front door. The packaging for the car will also sport some festive Yankee inspired artwork.
Ford Explorer night will start with the first 18,000 fans to enter the stadium 14 years old or younger to be presented with the 1:64 2011 Ford Explorer complimentary gift. The 1:64 scale give-away is just the beginning of the fun as a real 2011 Ford Explorer (in same decorative paint scheme) will be awarded to one lucky fan in attendance at the game, courtesy of Northeast Ford Dealers.
GreenLight plans to utilize this new 1:64 Explorer tool throughout their regular offering releases and arrangements have already started under way to put the popular Sport Utility Vehicle into GreenLight’s police themed series Hot Pursuit.
This promo has proven to have been a quadruple win for everyone involved, from the Yankees and Ford to GreenLight and Diecast collectors. Everyone can walk away with a big smile on their face, including the fans!
