Kenny Brown Performance forms Strategic Alliance with Heidts Automotive Mustang Suspension Companies Unite

Big news from the Chicago land area. Industry segment leaders Kenny Brown Performance and Heidts Automotive have formed a strategic alliance to form an engineering and manufacturing powerhouse.The strategic alliance was formed to facilitate the launch of Kenny Brown Performance and expand Heidts product offerings into the track and performance market. The synergy of combined brands will provide performance enthusiasts an expanded range of best-in-class chassis and suspension solutions for Mustangs and other performance cars from 1964 to the present.
Heidts, an established leader in street rod and muscle car suspension components for over 25 years, is recognized for its engineering excellence and high quality manufacturing capabilities. The company was founded by Gary Heidt in 1985 and is currently owned by Wallace Leyshon, President of Heidts Automotive, and his business partners.
Kenny Brown, a 25-year veteran in the Mustang performance aftermarket, is legendary for building some of the most technically advanced Ford Mustangs. His critically acclaimed, high-performance suspension components for street and track-day Mustangs are known to be some of the best in the Mustang aftermarket. After a medical hiatus, Brown is getting back in the driver’s seat designing superior high-performance suspension components for the latest generation Mustangs. Heidts will be the official licensed manufacturing and distribution partner for both his current and future line of late model performance products.

To insure the continual flow of segment leading products, Brown will assume the role of Acting Director of Engineering and New Product Development for both Heidts and Kenny Brown brands, and work closely with Owen Bassett, Engineering Manager, Heidts. In addition, Cari Southworth, long time Marketing Director for Kenny Brown, will continue her role with Kenny Brown brand with added responsibilities of overseeing marketing of the Heidts brand as well.
