VIRginia International Raceway Announces 2011 Season Schedule

The folks at VIR have put together a great list of 2011 events. Check out the full schedule in today's blog and see their web site for more details.

VIRginia International Raceway today announced its new Spectator Season Schedule for 2011, which includes several new events along with date changes for others.
 
"We're excited about the wide assortment of automobile. motorcycle and karting events which will be hosted by VIR next year," said a spokesperson for the historic race track, resort & corporate facility.  "There may be a few very minor changes to some of the activities along with some event sponsor announcements, but the dates are set and we are looking forward to a very successful year in 2011."
 

New additions to the spectator schedule includes dates for the VDCA Vintage Driver's Club of America, Chump Car series, SAAC Shelby American Automobile Club and the NARRA Viper Days for 2011. The annual Grand Am series Bosch Engineering events and the Heacock Classic SVRA Gold Cup have been shifted to later dates while the Stock Car Open Test dates remain tentative at this time.
