When all you want to do is pay at the pump, one of these hogs are bound to be in the way. Check out today's blog for some rant worthy commentary.
Like most of you (I hope) I'm a considerate person. I hold doors open for women and the elderly. I say please and thank you, call people "sir" or "maam" and so forth, and like others, I want to be treated the same way I treat others. So why is it so darn impossible to get gas in the morning on your way to work.
Case in point is this fine 67 degree Florida morning. I pull into my corner station where I fill up twice a week (ugh!) right behind this Ford Ranger you see above. I shouldn't be shocked by what happens next, but none the less I am. He rolls up to the trio of pumps and stops right in the middle at pump four. I had stayed back to see where he was going (Ranger fills on the left, Mustang on the right) and I didn't have enough room to use the pump in front of him, forcing me to make a three-point-turn and back up to the other pump. Hey folks, pull all the way to the end pump! Is it that hard?
The only thing that makes my head hurt more are the inconsiderate snack buyers that leave their car at the pump (with plenty of parking in front of the store) to run in for that Mt. Dew and a bag of Funions to eat while texting, er, I mean driving on the way to work or home. Meanwhile there's three cars idling away waiting for a pump to open up.
Ah, I feel better already. How about you? What's your biggest pet peeve about drivers? Who knows, there are so many I might just make this a regular Friday blog!
