It might be less than two feet long, but this SVT Raptor R/C body looks just like the real thing! Check out today's blog about JConcepts' SVT Raptor truck body we found recently for our R/C collection.
Long time readers know that I'm a nut for small-scale Ford offerings. From the GMP diecast cars that litter my office to my vast collection of Ford based "lids" for my five R/C vehicles at home, I've got the fever, so to speak. So when I recently stumbled upon this find at the JConcepts web site (www.jconcepts.net) I knew I had to order one, and I don't even own a short course truck (yet!).
The R/C body is designed to work with popular monster truck (the body is available in 1/8th scale too) and short course style R/Cs, but realistically it will fit any brand of R/C with a little tweaking. It is officially licensed by Ford and includes incredible details like the hood louvers, true to scale front grille/headlights, and that awesome "digital mud" graphics on its rear flanks (it comes in clear and you have to paint the main body color though).
So, if you're like me and dreaming of a Raptor in your own driveway, well, now for just a few hundred dollars you can pick up a fun R/C truck and for another $35 drop this amazing SVT Raptor body on it and go play in the mud, run some short course races, crawl over rocks, or just sit it on your shelf and stare at it. Whatever makes your world go 'round!
