It’s hard to overestimate Kaase’s reputation among Ford engine enthusiasts and the confidence they place in his products. Though all of the parts needed for the revival of his Boss Nine engine are new, the arrival of some had been delayed. By the time the heads and other sundry components finally appeared, anxious buyers were chomping at the bit for their new engines, and six or more had been assembled before the new product release could be written and pictures taken.
When asked which of the specifications of the new engine had incited most passion, Kaase’s answer came, “Only one of the first half-dozen buyers was interested in learning the full specifications of their engine—it seems it’s the ‘wow’ factor they like most!”
