We have been using the GoPro compact digital video system for almost two years now. You've most likely seen some of our videos right here on this very site. We love the unit for its compact size, ease of use, and portability. From track days to new car launches and even summer cruises in our personal cars the GoPro has been a great tool (and toy!) for us.
At the SEMA show this week the video camera gurus at GoPro have announced a new HD version with 1080p output, 60 fps capability, better sound, and a new rechargable battery!
The booth was crazy as GoPro owner Nicholas Woodman gave away a few of the new HD units to the rabid crowd of fans and media types (the open bar didn't hurt either!). We hope to get our hands on one soon and add even more great video to our site. Stay tuned.
