They are similar to their existing Platinum series but are modified to handle the curvature in the glass found on many vintage classic and muscle cars. For Ford guys applications include 1964-1978 Ford cars and 1966-’76 Mercury vehicles. The Platinum D-1 kit includes the regulator and all mounting hardware, switches and wiring.It carries an MSRP of $325.00. The Silver C-1 kit has an MSRP of $249.00 and does not include wire harness and switches. The retail price point is $100-$150 less than the competition’s OE kits. The new Platinum d-1/c-1 has been pre-tested in the market with key accounts for the last 6 months and is now in mass production.
