Ford Racing announces 2010 Cobra Jet
New Body in White program and option kits available to complete race car build ups.

On the heels of the 2008 Mustang Cobra Jet, Ford Racing is releasing the first specs on the upcoming 2010 model.
Dealers have already been informed that production will begin later this year with delivery in time for the 2010 race season.
The 2010 Mustang Cobra Jet will be a factory-built race car, ready for the drag strip with only minor additional prep required from the racer. Intentionally limited to only 50 units the 2010 Cobra Jet will feature many improvements over the 2008 model that are the result of trickle-down engineering and a successful 2009 season that includes a Stock Eliminator victory at the NHRA Winternationals.

Body in White program:
In parallel with the 2010 Cobra Jet order bank and build, Ford Racing will make available 2010 Mustang bodies-in-white (BIW) with Cobra Jet based option kits to complete a race car build.
By pre-ordering and delivering these kits with the Cobra Jet build we are able to deliver the greatest value to the racer through volume purchasing and elimination of warehousing cost.
Available kits will include:

• Interior trim
• Wiring
• Seats
• Chassis/suspension
All Cobra Jet engine offerings will be available in short block, long block, and fully dressed form for a completed vehicle.
