Toyo Tires Expands Sizing

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. announces new sizes in several lines of tires for passenger cars and light trucks. Beginning with the recently released Extensa™ HP high performance value tire for sedans and coupes, six new sizes have recently been added. These include a 195/50R15, P195/55R15, 205/50R16, P215/55R17, P225/55R16 and P225/55R17. This brings the Extensa HP line-up to 16 sizes with fitments for everything from sport compacts to performance cars such as the Mazda RX-8 and Acura TL.
The ever-expanding luxury touring segment features a new 205/65R16 size of the all-season Versado® LX for the Nissan Altima and Infiniti G35. This premium tire uses Silent Wall™ design technology and multi-wave sipes for a remarkably quiet and comfortable ride.
The Proxes® family of high performance tires gets new sizes for both passenger cars and sport pickups. The low-profile Proxes® 4 unidirectional high-performance tire for passenger cars now includes a 265/25ZR24 size as part of its broad range of fitments ranging from 15- to 30-inch wheels. On the track, Nissan GT-R owners benefit from two new sizes in the Proxes® R888™, 285/35ZR20 (100Y) and 315/30ZR20 (101Y). These are the first R-compound replacement tires for the new GT-R. For sport pickups, the Proxes® STII™ high-performance lineup now includes a 10-ply LT285/50R22 size. This is the first Load Range E product offered as a high performance tire from Toyo Tires.
