The ROUSH 2010 427R Makes Waves

The fine folks at ROUSH dropped off a shiny red 2010 427R Mustang for us (meaning all of the various Mustang magazines we produce) to spend some time with. We've driven several stock 2010 Mustangs and have already had the pleasure of driving the 2010 GT500, but the ROUSH package is no slouch either.
We had the chance to put nearly 200 miles on it driving it to work for three days and taking a weekend excursion to see some family in Orlando (about a 30 mile drive each way) and the car performed flawlessly. We can't give away too much in our blog or you won't have a reason to read our full review in the magazine, but suffice to say, we were very reluctant to hand the keys over to the next lucky editor.
The 435 hp 4.6L Three-Valve had plenty of go power for our daily use without any "bad boy" driveability issues and the exhaust sounded darn right perfect for all but multi-hour cruising (to our aging ears anyway). ROUSH also did a great job tweaking the exterior. You can tell it's a ROUSH at first glance, more so than a 2010 some people told us.
