Ridemakerz Allows The Designer in All of us to Build Their Ultimate Mustang Online or in one of their stores, you too can build your dream ride. The basic snap together car, the glue together advanced kit, or a preassembled plastic or metal car. Depending upon your age and whether your parents trusted you yet with the paint and glue, these were your options. Sure you could paint the model, but whatever wheels, decals, and chrome bling came in the box you were stuck with. Even the upscale model kits that offered two or three theme variations didn't always satisfy one's need for individualism.  Well now kids, young and old, can build their ultimate model car with Ridemakerz. The brainchild of Larry Andreini, Ridemakerz is where you can choose from dozens of parts to create your own one of a kind model. Think "Build-a-Bear" store for boys. You can go into any one of their 12 retail locations or to their online store at www.ridemakerz.com and build your ride. Ridemakerz figures with their option parts (including sound chips and remote control driving modules) that there more than 649 million possible combinations, not including decal placement, in building your own unique ride. Their latest addition is the 2010 Mustang shown in our first photo. Available in Tidal Power Blue or Raven Scream Black for $26 or Flamehawk Red for $29. A limited edition version, of which only 2,010 will be made, will sell for $32. The online experience is enhanced by the fact that any virtual ride created can be made into a real Ridemakerz, which is then shipped to your door for assembly (no glue!) using the included ignition key style wrench. Their safe virtual environment for kids allows them to explore with their virtual Ridemakerz, with Z-motes, which is a visual, safe, and fun way for each child to communicate with words and graphics with no real chat between people. Check it out yourself, it's really cool.  Retail stores even offer the Ridemakerz Bash, where birthday parties can be held and guests build their own cars. Each retail location features zones where you choose to add that zones' item. Starting with nearly 70 body types, including the Mustang, F-series truck, and more, and then adding sound effects, radio control, wheels, lights, spoilers, etc. and finally personalizing their ride with custom license plate. Finally a RIN (Ride Identification Number) and certificate of title is issued. The rides are priced from $10-$32 depending upon the body, with radio control adding $25. Option parts start at just $2.
