The flanged mouth of the throttle body is counter-bored to accept a machined aluminum mating ring and the other end of the mating ring is counter-bored to accept a 4-inch O.D. alloy tube, which can be welded into place. The result is a smooth pressurized air passage from the intercooler to the throttle body. On the throttle body face an O-ring replaces a conventional gasket. Other advantages of these billet aluminum throttle bodies are their larger bores, smooth throttle shafts operation and sealed roller shaft bearings. The new throttle body is part number 471105V and the MSRP is $487.18. For more information on this and other Wilson products contact Wilson Manifolds at (954) 771-6216 www.wilsonmanifolds.com
