Receives $1,500 Donation For Favorite Charity
For the past 16 years Eagle One's Golden Rule Awards program has confirmed that there is more to car clubs than just cars. The driving force for most clubs is providing great support to community and charitable causes.
A perfect example is The Victory 7 Mustang Club of Richmond, VA. The club won the coveted Eagle One Golden Rule Award for the Southern Region for the most outstanding community service program in its area during 2008. It also was selected the Grand Prize winner among four regional winners for the most compassionate achievements.
The club's community service program was highlighted by the organization of a Back-To-School rally at which 10,000 K-12th grade students were provided with note books, paper, book bags and other educational materials. The club also organized a Cancer Prevention Health Screening for 800 men.
In recognition of these achievments, Eagle One and associate sponsor Valvoline donated a total of $1,500 to a favorite charity of the club. A $500 donation was made to a favorite charity of the three other regional winners.
Other winners were: West: Rogue Valley Street Rods, Medford, OR; Midwest: Southern Cruzers Car Club, Lakeville, MN; Corvette Club of Delaware Valley, Philadelphia, PA.
In addition to the cash donations, each club received a custom-designed award and a generous supply of Eagle One premium appearance care products and Valvoline oil for fund-raising events.
