KICKER and Shelby Automobiles Finalize Partnership See the blog for all the details on this new development... KICKER Performance Audio is proud to announce its newest partnership with a company that exudes all of the vision and performance of an American legend. Shelby Automobiles, a product of auto icon Carroll Shelby and his passion for muscle and speed, will begin outfitting Shelby-built, Ford Mustang project cars with high-performance KICKER audio systems in 2009, it was announced at the 2008 SEMA Show. KICKER audio upgrades will also be offered through Shelby Performance Parts LLC, providing the stereo shot of adrenalin that Mustang owners, including those who drive the limited-edition, 40th Anniversary Shelby GT500, expect from the parts and accessories force. KICKER has served as an OE supplier since 2003, and has offered manufacturer-specific audio upgrade kits through performance-parts stores since 2005. Shelby Automobiles, Inc., located in Las Vegas, Nevada, is all about performance. Performance upgrades include the more-than-350-horsepower supercharger package for 6-cylinder Mustangs, signature Borla exhaust systems, Shelby-branded brake kits, and much more. Located at the phenomenal Las Vegas Speedway, Shelby Automobiles has the advantage of testing the latest components in its own back yard. Personally, Carroll Shelby’s inspiration and vision have made him the driving force for products and industries worldwide. A World War II aviator, Carroll began racing, and winning, in the mid-1950s. He captured three national sports-car championships and earned a spot on the Aston-Martin racing team. In his lifetime he has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans and set land speed records on the salt flats at Bonneville. In 1992, Carroll Shelby was inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame.
