Our '68 Mustang is Heading West

Modified Mustangs & Fords Project Update

Some of you may have read our blog about our '68 project now being powered by a 4.6L three-valve modular. We also hinted at some other changes. Read the full blog to see just what we are talking about.

While we picked up a '68 coupe on the cheap with initial plans of some GT/CS looking exterior upgrades, a 5.0L EFI engine, and some safety upgrades like disc brakes, high-back seats, and more, things have gone in a different direction now with the aforementioned 4.6 drivetrain swap.

Now, we're going one step further and we're converting our base coupe into a fastback courtesy of the talented crew at Drake Customs (www.drakecustoms.com). The '68 is on its way to Arizona right now courtesy of Reliable Carriers and we hope to have some updates shortly along with a full conversion story in the magazine.

As you can see by our blog photo the '68 is nothing but a rolling shell these days and we would have stripped it further but it would have made it impossible to ship withouth suspension and wheels (the Reliable people were happy it could be pushed!).

Stay tuned for more soon!
