So, thinking back, did you really enjoy your 2008 summer vacation? If you chose to vacation at Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach, SC, then the answer is most definitely YES! Every year Mustang Week continues to grow and 2008 was an overwhelming success. Mustang Week is not your typical car show-style gathering. It is a week-long celebration of the vehicles that Mustang and SVT enthusiast love. The Mustang Week Staff is gearing up for the 8th annual event (July 20-26, 2009) to ensure that you get the most out of your vacation! Whether you are a seasoned Mustang Week faithful and haven’t missed a year, or if 2009 will be your first time, you will not be disappointed! The week starts with the annual Meet-n-Greet on Tuesday at Planet Hollywood. On Wednesday, we venture to the Myrtle Beach Speedway for “fun runs” around the half-mile oval and the infield autocross. Thursday we will make our annual run to the Darlington International Dragway for the Mustang Week Dragnight with test-n-tune runs and the Mustang Week Shootout! Friday brings the annual Mustang Week Car Show. It sells out each year prior to the event so watch for pre-registration to open! Here you can also take in all of the Mustang Week sponsor and vendor displays! Then Saturday we end the week with the east coasts largest Mustang and SVT cruise-in! All, years makes and models of Mustangs and SVT’s are welcome!

The Grandstrand has been a favorite beach vacation destination for decades and this is what makes a Mustang Week vacation all the more fun! Many of the week’s start after lunch and some events end in the early evening around dinner.
