What Ever Happened to Respecting Other's Vehicles?

Forgive me if I seem in whining mode. But it's been a week from hell. The icing on the cake was when I left my brand new 2008 Ford Ranger in a corporate owned parking lot for one week, under the watchful eye of security cameras only to return to find it damaged. Read the whole story in the blog below...

I've left cars here before with no problem - there's also over 1 million dollars worth of new Ford vehicles parked in the lot at any one time. I came back to pick the truck up last Friday and noticed the passenger door mirror had been pushed in. I thought nothing of it until I saw a scratch. Then I noticed a really good crease all the way down the door to the rocker panel. Somebody had slammed their door hard against my truck and then left the scene - no note with reception, nothing. Yes I was annoyed that the truck was damaged, but even more so that somebody didn't have the decency to notify me. If I had done that to somebody else's vehicle I would have notified them, it is after all my responsibility to do so. Needless to say the truck is being fixed, starting next week and the service provided for that has been exemplary. Still it just really irritates me how people can be so ignorant and disrespectful of other's property. There, end of rant. Sometimes it's good to have a good ol' moan. If you guys have got any stories on parking lot or accidents like that, would love to hear 'em...
