Many of you have heard that Ford Racing Performance Parts' latest turn key racer is going to be drag race oriented. Well here's a little taste of what's to come, courtesy of our boys at FRPP. Read the blog for more details below.
The FR500CJ (PN M-FR500-CJ) race car is FRPP's latest factory built racer and is set to debut at the 2008 SEMA show just weeks away from now. The FR500CJ will be similar to the offerings already in the Ford Racing catalog like the FR500C and FR500S, in as much as that they will be built to compete in a specific race series. The FR500CJ is bound for NHRA Stock Eliminator class racing and is powered by a detuned 5.4 four-valve supercharged modular (400hp limit).
Some of the bullet points seen in previous emails include:

The FRPP guys forwarded us this teaser video of the FR500CJ's first test pass at Milan Dragway in Milan, MI. Is it me, or is it 1968 all over again (especially the limit of 50 units, bummer!)
Check it out and tell us what you think of the FR500CJ here or in our forums.
