Little Fuse announced today their entrance into the wiring aftermarket with the release of their ISIS Multiplex Wiring Harness System. We got an early look and some hands on with their new system. Check out the details in our blog.

The ISIS multiplex wiring system is not your typical aftermarket wiring harness solution. In a nutshell the ISIS system use a multiplex power-distribution system just like the OEMs have for the last several years. This means one wire can carry multiple signals (say lights, horn, electric fan, and wipers on one single wire). This makes for easier, faster wiring, less weight in the vehicle, and complete customization of your wiring needs.

ISIS 3 Cell Wiring Kit

The system allows for easy installation in just about any vehicle type. We first got wind of the product during early evaluation and development was happening with several Factory Five Roadster owners while visiting the FFR owners group forums during the build of our own Roadster. We were quite intrigued and when the folks at Little Fuse paid our office a visit to do a demonstration and actually put a unit in our hands, well, we couldn't say no to that!

ISIS Optional Remote

The units are available now with a few options like a remote keyless entry, capable of up to 16 different functions (ignition start, roll down windows, flash lights, you name it!) and a hand held touch screen remote will be available by year's end. We can't wait to hit the Little Fuse booth at SEMA this year and see a system in action with all the options, and while we're nowhere near ready for wiring yet on our father/son '68 coupe project, you bet we'll be looking into adding ISIS to our project car too.

Check out www.isispower.com for detailed information, and let 'em know you read it here!
