Year One now has a small block Ford Crate Engine built with the budget enthusiast in mind.


Their latest offering is this 351W engine rated at over 400 horsepower and 415 lb. /lbs. of torque. The bottom end features a two-bolt block, cast crank with hypereutectic pistons and a dual-pattern hydraulic roller cam. The cam has .517 in/.574 ex lift, and 218-/224-degrees of duration. The engine comes equipped with a pair of aluminum cylinder heads featuring 2.02/1.60 valves, 1.5:1 ratio rockers and a dual plane aluminum intake manifold. Even with 400 horsepower the engine is dependable for daily driving with a compression ratio of 10:1. It will run on pump gas while pulling 12hg of vacuum at 800 RPM. The crate engine comes complete with oil pan, timing cover, valve covers, balancer and flex plate. Each engine is balanced and blueprinted, dynamometer tested shipped with its own dyno sheet.
