Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Ford/Roush

Lawsuit Claims Mustang Not So Limited After All

It appears a bunch of disgruntled Roush owners have started a class action lawsuit naming Ford and Roush that the Roush Blackjack isn't as limited as originally told due to an increase in production numbers. See the blog for more.

As reported by Reuters at this link:

The Class Action lawsuit claims that more than 100 '07 Roush Stage 3 Blackjacks were made (the original production number touted), which has reduced the collectible car's value. The lawsuit claims that at least 100 more were built in 2008.

Our take on it? They were told 100 would be built in '07 and that the '08 production should not be confused with the '07 numbers (ask any limited production vehicle owner such as Bullitt, Mach, Saleen, Steeda, etc. about one year versus another). But hey, I'm not a lawyer and I feel a real Ford/Roush enthusiast should buy the car for the enjoyment and not resale value. Cars are the worst thing you can invest in. Just ask Unique Performance owners! Drop the lawsuit and go take your cool Roush for a ride and chill. Even if they made 200 instead of 100 it's still a very low production number, less than most other limited production Mustang out there.
