You better start digging through those couch cushions for spare change now, as this one of a kind eBay Motors auction ends February 7th! More details in the full blog below.
We just got wind of this incredible Mustang auction up on the popular car and part site eBay Motors. The auction is for an unbelievable 103 Mustangs and over 4,500 parts. The cars range in quality from nice drivers ready to go (both classic and late model) to restoration projects and some that we would loosely call parts cars! There are K-codes, Shelbys, Mach 1s, and more listed in the auction, including a restored GT500KR and a ’69 S-code fastback for parts or restoration.
On the parts side of things the hardware ranges from nearly two dozen small-blocks to a handful of FEs and even a six-pack of inlines to door panels, carburetors, consoles, glass, sheetmetal, valve covers, instrument clusters, and more. Many are new in the box, including some Shelby parts.
The Buy it Now price is only $950,000, mere pocket change for some collectors but a bit rich for my blood. There is mention of splitting up just the cars or just the parts as separate sales, but no confirmation yet if the cars will be auctioned off individually. My guess is the whole lot will not sell and you’ll see these cars back on eBay Motors shortly in smaller lots (just Shelbys, etc.) or even one at a time.
Happy bidding, and if you purchase the collection or one of the cars be sure and let us know what you scored!
