Our FFR Roadster project is on its way to Florida right now and we're still planning to have the car on display at the upcoming Silver Springs/NPD Mustang & Ford Roundup this weekend! Shown here are Bob Roeder and Aaron Kester of KR Performance & Restorations (www.krpandr.com) who literally dropped everything they were doing at a moments notice to ensure our project made it to the pickup point in Indiana.
Our FFR Roadster project has been painted for several weeks now, but as our luck would have it the holidays played havoc on our transportation schedule. Just when we thought there was no chance we'd see our project in time for our planned debut at the Silver Springs show this coming weekend a call from Reliable Carriers (www.reliable-carriers.com) on Saturday the 5th put everyone in scramble mode to make things happen and get our project to FL in time.
Dropping everything and heading the nine hours to Indiana the guys from KR Performance are the true heroes to this story. Not only have they given our project a show ready paint job, they've been just plain awesome to work with. Shortly after this photo was taken by Dave Stribling of DVS Restorations (www.dvsrestorations.com), which was our mutual meeting point in Indiana, Bob emailed me to say he missed the car already. Now Bob and Aaron are thinking of buying their own Roadster or Coupe project to work on. It must be contagious!
Around 9:30 Sunday the 6th the Roadster was loaded onto the Reliable transporter and it is currently heading south. We hope to have the project car back in the garage tonight or first thing Tuesday morning. Now excuse me, I've got a TON of stuff to order and prepare for my upcoming three day thrash-fest!
